The Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce's Healthcare Council announces Wellness Week 2020. Wellness Week 2020 is scheduled as February 3-7, 2020 and is an effort to heighten the awareness and share the benefits of wellness in the workplace.
The Chamber is encouraging the community to participate during the week to promote wellness in Fort Smith. Ideas for participation for businesses, churches, schools and families are listed below. Be creative and have WELLNESS on your mind the entire week. Additionally, we'd like participants to share their progress, stories and photos with us through tagging the Fort Smith Regional Chamber page on Facebook and Tweeting with the hashtag #FSWellnessWeek.

Normatec Compression Therapy is a treatment modality that uses pulse massage patterns to boost recovery. The dynamic compression device uses compressed air to massage limbs, mobilize fluid, and fight inflammation. Limbs are inserted into sleeves that are inflated to compress the muscles. The compression system then pulses up the limbs, squeezing pain-causing fluid and lactic acid out of them. The limbs are then replenished with fresh blood, stimulating recovery. Our Normatec Compression Therapy sessions last for 30 minutes and are regularly priced at $25.
