If you are not currently licensed, SYKES will cover the costs of your pre-exam coursework, study guides, study sessions, and the state exam! After obtaining your state license, SYKES will pay you until your training class begins! This means you will earn a paycheck at $10 per hour, 28 hours per week, until day 1 of training where you will then start at $12.50 per hour, 40 hours per week!

SYKES requires 7 weeks of paid mandatory training that will allow you to learn skills in communication, problem solving, and engaging in a team environment that will serve you well in all your current and future career goals.

You will have the opportunity to manage inbound questions from clients and potential clients, combining deep insurance product expertise with a commitment to helping clients and resolving questions. •Starting base pay of $12.50/hr. while in training, $13.50 if you are pre-licensed with a current P&L Insurance License

What will you be doing? We have great Customer Service opportunities…

SYKES is looking for full-time Customer Service Agents at our Fort Smith, AR location to assist customers to answer questions, process transactions and resolve their issues! You will get the opportunity to:

•Become a licensed personal lines insurance agent handling home and auto insurance customer service (investing in you)

•Engage in a fully paid training program to teach you what you need to know after you successfully complete your state exam (insurance knowledge)

•Answer live inbound phone calls during your entire shift from different customers (variety and diversity)

•Use a computer to navigate various screens to help the customer (improve your computer skills)

•Listen to issues, empathize and solve customer issues (be a problem-solver)

What do you need to be a successful Insurance Customer Service Agent? It is simple…

•Offer contingent on studying for and passing Personal Lines resident licensing exam before the start date

•Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

•Have reliable, consistent transportation to get to and from our Fort Smith, AR location

•Computer navigation skills, using Microsoft applications and Internet browsers are a definite plus, typing speed must be a minimum of 25 words per minute

•Previous customer service in a fast-paced service environment, service or claims experience is a plus

•Ability to pass a background and drug test

•Hours of operation: M-F: 7 am – 10 pm; Sat: 7 am – 10 pm; Sun: 10 am – 7 pm CST
