The Guidance Center is looking for champions to work with an energetic and innovative team in community behavioral health.  There are opportunities to work with various populations, across all ages and groups such as co-occurring with substance use treatment, foster care, Mental Health Treatment Court or child/adolescent care, and more.  Clinic settings as well as school base are available in Fort Smith, Van Buren, Alma, Ozark and Paris.  The Guidance Center is not only a Community Mental Health Center, 1 of 12 in the State of Arkansas, but expanding to meet service needs across our 6 counties.   The center promotes professional development and skill development using EBP.

Duties: Provide face-to-face assessments with clients through initial interview process, diagnosing and developing treatment plans, and maintain an active caseload as a primary therapist. Commensurate with Center needs and individual's own interests and abilities within the scope of licensure, training, and competency. Should be able to develop and maintain concurrent clinical documentation in accordance with Federal and State regulations regarding behavioral health care. Must be able to meet productivity expectations while simultaneously demonstrating ethical treatment and billing practices. Must be able to maintain active communication while working in a collaborative environment.

Requirements: Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited institution, as well as a current Arkansas license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LPE-I, or PhD). Must pass background checks and drug screens.

Salary range:  $45,000-67,000/year (salary and contract available) - FT & PT positions available
