Community School of the Arts recently filed a Letter of Intent with the Arkansas Department of Education Charter School Office to submit an application for an open enrollment public charter school to be located in Fort Smith.  The charter school will be called the Institute for the Creative Arts and is a specialized performing arts high school for students in grades 9-12. The Institute will be housed in the new CSA facility called the Center for the Creative Arts located at 1101 Riverfront Drive.
 
A Public Hearing will be held in May to provide more information about the Institute.  We would like to invite everyone to join us for this hearing as well as schedule a tour of our facility. We are excited about the arts opportunities we bring to our students in this region and look forward to visiting with you further.  Below is the information about the Public Hearing.
