Fort Smith Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting – November 30, 2019
The annual Fort Smith Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Fort Smith will happen on November 30th from 5 PM to 8 PM at Ross Pendergraft Park.  Come out and help us countdown to 6PM when the switch will be turned on to light up the tree and the park for the holidays.  The Fort Smith Trolley Museum will be offering FREE rides on the Trolley from 5PM to 8PM.
Santa Claus will make his first appearance of the season at his house in the park for all the kids to tell him what they want for Christmas.
The Community School of the Arts will be there singing carols from 5-6p. The Artistic Bean and the Fort Smith Girls Scout Service Unit will be on hand selling hot chocolate and more for everyone.
You can also support two Fort Smith Downtown Business Association Non-Profit Members, STEPS Family Resource Center and Community Rescue Mission, by bringing an unwrapped toy to help spread the Christmas Cheer.  Toys can be dropped off at the Santa House during the hours that Santa is present, at Olen & Co 3rd and N "A" Street or Edward Jones at 9th & N "A" Street.
For anyone unable to attend the lighting ceremonies, Santa will be visiting his house on Saturdays - December 7th & 14th from 12 noon until 3:30 PM.
So, come out any time you can and let the kids visit with Santa Claus at his house which makes a perfect photo opportunity for everyone!
Proudly brought to you by the Fort Smith Downtown Business Association, 64.6 and Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce.
