Help for Elder Victims of Crime

Have you seen our billboards yet? We at Area Agency on Aging have added 4 billboards to the Fort Smith Metropolitan Area letting the community know that we are here to serve our elders who have been victimized by crime. Our Elder Victims of Crime (EVOC) Program can assist directly with emergency housing, food, transportation, legal services, and window/door lock replacement – provided at no charge to the victim.
To qualify:
  • Must be 50 years or older,
  • Live in Sebastian or Franklin County, and
  • Self-identify as a victim of crime.
Whether the crime was committed at a local, State, or Federal level: We are here to help. All information is kept confidential and police reports are not required for services.
Please contact our EVOC Coordinator for assistance at (479) 424-2021 or (800) 320-6667 Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.
