Parrot Island Waterpark Welcomes New Manager
Fort  Smith,  Arkansas  –  January  28,  2019  –  Parrot  Island  Waterpark  of  Fort  Smith,  AR
Welcomes New General Manager, Kyle Taylor.

Parrot  Island  Waterpark  is  excited   to  introduce  Kyle  to  the  River  Valley  and  looking 
forward to seeing what his enthusiasm and experience will bring to the park.

Kyle's  experience  as  a  Theme  Park  and  Water  Park  professional  began  at  Magic  Springs  
& Crystal Falls in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2005. Kyle started as a Guest Services Team Member 
working in many departments from Ride Operations, Lifeguarding, Guest Services, I.T., Sales, and 
Marketing. He worked through the ranks from Team Member to Manager.

Although he never thought he would leave Arkansas, Kyle moved to Kentucky in 2014 to be a part of 
the redevelopment team to reopen Kentucky Kingdom & Hurricane Bay.

Prior to his move to the River Valley, as Parrot Island Waterpark's new General Manager, Kyle moved 
 to  Dallas  to  open  the  Crayola  Experience.  In  2018,  he  joined  American  Resort 
Management as Director of Guest Services at Epic Waters Indoor Water Park.
“I  am  very  excited  to  be  a  part  of  the  Parrot  Island  team  and  continue  to  build 
relationships  with  our  guests  and  community.  It's so nice being back in Arkansas and I look 
forward to meeting all our 2019 Islanders.” said Kyle.

He  will  continue  pursuing  Parrot  Island's  mission  to  further  the  Aloha  Spirit  by  
ensuring  a safe  and  fun  atmosphere  for  all  visitors.  He  is excited  t o  build  new  
relationships wit h  the  community  and  kick  off  a  great  season  at  Parrot  Island

Island  Waterpark  ticket  office,  located  at  7300  Zero  Street  in  Ben  Geren  Park  Fort  
Smith, or by phone at 479-788-6550, Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Parrot   Island   Waterpark   features   the   region’s   only   wave   pool,   four   awesome   
twisting turning  water  slides,  a  relaxing  lazy  river,  an  activity  pool  and  a  themed  
children’s  aquatic play area.  The  outdoor  waterpark  has  over  370,000  gallons  of  aquatic  
fun  and  includes a variety   of  amenities,   including   party   pavilions,   cabana   rentals,  
 food   and   beverage concessions,   800  complimentary  deck  and  lounge  chairs,  over  250  
complimentary  water tubes, expansive grass lawns for relaxing and much more, and is open Memorial 
Day through Labor Day.

Located   at   Ben   Geren   Park,   residents   and   visitors   can   enjoy   Parrot   Island
