About Us

In the 1800's, Max Aue developed the small community of Leon Springs, in the Texas Hill Country outside of San Antonio. In 1929, Max's son, Rudolph, opened a gas station, garage and grocery store. In 1989, Bar-B-Q was added to the Country Store and Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q, was founded. Today, Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q, has expanded throughout the southwest with the same original recipes that made Rudy's Leon Springs famous.

Rudy’s brought their Real Texas Bar-B-Q to Fayetteville in 2025, with its location at 4084 W MLK Blvd. Rudy's features a broad menu full of Bar-B-Q favorites such as brisket, turkey, ribs and more! Their meat is 100% wood fired with oak, a slower burning wood as opposed to mesquite.
Rudy’s opens every day at 6am, and serves their famous made-to-order and grab-and-go breakfast tacos. The Rudy's model is very similar to a meat market, so you can order as much or as little as you want, satisfying the individual or even the largest group. They have Family or Group
Meals available, making it perfect for a small family dinner, an office lunch or even a game day party. Catering is offered for groups of 100 or more.
