Haas Hall Academy English Faculty Job Opening

We are looking for a full-time English teacher to join the faculty at Haas Hall Academy Fort Smith. Responsibilities include planning and preparing lessons, implementing school policies and procedures, grading assignments, holding conferences with students and parents to monitor progress, and working alongside other members of the English department to develop curricula. 

Ability to manage a classroom is critical, and experience with technology is preferred. The right candidate will be comfortable teaching fiction, nonfiction, poetry, vocabulary, grammar, and a variety of essay forms. Our goal is to prepare students for college and career. 

Courses taught include Literature 7, Literature 9, and Creative Writing.
