Michael Mings serves as the Mobility Coordinator for the City of Fort Smith, where he is dedicated to enhancing the city's connectivity and overall wellness. His efforts center on expanding active transportation infrastructure, public health programs, education, and advocacy. Michael has played an instrumental role in several city projects, including Move Fort Smith, All Kids Bike, Safe Streets 4 All, and the acquisition of the former ACME Brick property, which is set to become a new city park. His commitment to making Fort Smith a more vibrant community is inspired by the legacy of his grandmother, Carolyn Pollan, who represented Fort Smith in the Arkansas House of Representatives for 12 terms. Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael enjoys time with his wife and three children, gardening, and participating in his "Books and Beers" reading club.
