Choctaw Casino & Resort: Restaurant Takeover with Maneet Chauhan
Celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan is taking over Seven Ponies inside Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola on May 2 and 3! Chauhan is a longtime judge of Food Network’s “Chopped,” as well as the first-ever two-time winner of Guy Fieri’s “Tournament of Champions,” scoring wins in 2019 and 2024. After years working in India’s finest hotels and New York and Chicago’s top restaurants, Chauhan went on to co-found Morph Hospitality Group and open two restaurants in Nashville – Chauhan Ale & Masala House and The Mockingbird – as well as a restaurant in Orlando, Florida, eet by Maneet Chauhan. Chauhan is the author of two cookbooks, the latest being 2020’s “Chaat.” Guests who attend Chauhan’s restaurant takeover will all receive an autographed copy. Chauhan will be hosting a four-course meal inside Seven Ponies Restaurant at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3 with seatings at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased here. Chauhan will make appearances in the dining room throughout the evening, while also working with Choctaw’s chefs to prepare delicious dishes. The meal will start with a strawberry rhubarb naanzanella chaat salad and malabar coconut crab cake followed by a duo of roasted tandoori chicken tikka masala and bhunna braised short rib masala. The final course will be a carrot halwa trifle. She is the fifth chef to host a restaurant takeover at the Pocola resort, following Alex Guarnaschelli, Jet Tila, Rocco DiSpirito and Tiffani Faison.
