Haas Hall Academy School Nurse Position

Hass Hall Academy is seeking a compassionate, organized, and licensed School Nurse to support the health and well-being of our students and staff. The School Nurse will play a vital role in promoting a healthy school environment by providing direct health services, managing chronic conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with families and staff. This role is essential to ensuring students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn in alignment with the school’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health care to scholars and staff, including first aid, emergency care, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.

• Administer medications and monitor treatment plans in compliance with physician orders and school policies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential scholar health records in accordance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.

• Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis, etc.) and referrals as required.

• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with medical needs.

• Monitor and manage immunization compliance; report data to local/state health authorities as required.

• Serve as a health resource for staff, students, and families; provide health education and counseling as appropriate.
   

  Qualifications--Required:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas (required)

• Bachelor's Degree

• Current CPR/First Aid certification
