Haas Hall Academy Fort Smith is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic instructional team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love for science, inquiry, and critical thinking in students. In our innovative charter school setting, teachers are empowered to use data-driven instruction, project-based learning, and culturally responsive practices to support student achievement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned science lessons in accordance with school curriculum and state/national standards (NGSS preferred).

• Use inquiry-based and hands-on approaches to support scientific understanding.

• Create a classroom environment that is safe, positive, and fosters academic and personal growth.

• Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instruction.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including ELLs and students with IEPs.

• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and learning outcomes.

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and contribute to school-wide goals.

• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders about student progress.

• Participate in school events, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Uphold and promote the mission, vision, and values of the charter school.
