General Manager - Distribution
Romark Logistics is searching for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our Barling, Arkansas, facility. This 825,000+ square-foot operation employs approximately 100 team members and supports both ambient and freezer distribution in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.

The ideal candidate is a proven distribution leader who knows how to balance people, performance, safety, service, and financial results—and who is just as comfortable engaging with employees on the warehouse floor as reviewing operational and financial performance.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of the facility’s performance and financial results
- Lead safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, customer service, and cost-control efforts
- Manage and develop a multi-layer leadership team across operations, inventory control, quality, safety, HR, and other support functions
- Establish clear performance expectations supported by meaningful KPIs and consistent accountability
- Optimize staffing, labor planning, and resources to meet changing business needs
- Identify and lead continuous-improvement opportunities
- Coach and develop leaders while building a strong succession pipeline
- Build trusted relationships with customers through transparency, responsiveness, and reliable execution
- Promote a workplace culture centered on safety, teamwork, respect, and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Eight or more years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experience
- Five or more years in a site-level General Manager or equivalent leadership position with full P&L responsibility
- Experience leading a large, multi-shift warehouse or distribution operation
- A demonstrated ability to improve productivity and performance through clear expectations, effective processes, and accountability
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience using KPIs and operational data to drive results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Experience working with warehouse management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food-grade, temperature-controlled, or regulated distribution
- Experience managing complex operations with high customer-service expectations
- Experience successfully leading organizational or operational change
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma practices
