We are seeking an experienced, dependable Full-Time Cook to join our team at an assisted living facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing meals for large groups and takes pride in serving the elderly community with care, dignity, and consistency.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for a large number of residents

• Follow menus, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements

• Operate large kitchen equipment, including grills, stovetops, and ovens

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

• Assist with kitchen sanitation and cleanup duties

• Work as part of a team to ensure timely meal service

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience required (institutional or large-batch cooking preferred)

• Ability to safely use commercial kitchen appliances

• Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate attitude toward the elderly population

• Willingness to learn — training will be provided, but basic skills are required
