Arvest Makes Inaugural Forbes’ America’s Best-in-State Companies List
FORT SMITH, Ark. (December 15, 2025) – Arvest Bank has been recognized in Forbes’ first-ever America’s Best-in-State Companies list, measuring associate and customer satisfaction and business growth. Arvest is listed #5 overall among Arkansas companies and is the highest-ranked bank to be recognized in the state.
According to Forbes, more than 50,000 companies nationwide were evaluated and scored based on size, financial strength and customer and employee satisfaction. To ensure smaller companies in smaller states received appropriate recognition, each state has its own list.
“Being recognized on this inaugural list is an honor,” said Mike Jacimore, president of Arvest Bank – Fort Smith Region. “For more than 60 years, we have been committed to helping our communities thrive and grow, and this award helps affirm our long-term focus. We’re proud of our dedicated associates, whose excellent service makes this recognition possible.”
In August, Arvest was the highest-ranked Arkansas bank in Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers list, based on employee responses to survey questions about how likely they were to recommend their employer wage parity, work culture, paths to professional advancement and employer response serious issues. Arvest ranked #18 in Arkansas and #13 in Oklahoma.
Among other recent national recognition, U.S. News & World Report, for the second consecutive year, named Arvest one of the 2025-2026 Best Private Companies to Work For. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recognized Arvest Mortgage Division as a top rural housing lender in the 2025 Underwriting Quality Champion and Top Secondary Market Partner Champion award categories, and Arvest Equipment Finance was named a 2025 Top 50 Bank in Equipment Finance by Monitor.
